M96 Dual Scavenge Oil Pump

£990.00

Machined from solid billet this pump scavenges the flywheel end of the engine where oil can otherwise build up in track driving situations without being returned to the sump, leading to oil-starvation.

When Porsche were considering campaigning the 3.4 litre M96 engine in the Cup cars they created an extensive set of modifications to the engine under the X51 designation - including a no longer available dual stage scavenge pump. Our pump performs the role of the original, now out of production, X51 dual-stage oil scavenge unit (Porsche part number 996.107.980.00).

This pump is designed for all variants of the 3.4 litre M96 engine (cable and eThrottle), and also any larger capacity conversions which are based on the M96 platform and retain the 3.4 VarioCam heads.

When installed the pump replaces the standard single stage pump and will need to be fitted with the Porsche X51 oil return line, part 996.107.984.02 (not included).
